I have taken my car to German Car Specialists several times and they have done fantastic work! Sometimes I forget what work needs to be done, but they keep great records and always inform me when I can postpone some maintenance and which posted on CitySearch

I took my BWM 335i coupe for oil change. I was very happy with the service and the car's running well. They gave me my regular change, checked all the fluids. The light replacement, they did give me information about all the "regular" maintenance but at no time did I feel pressured to take it. They also gave me information about how to get the best deal for my car's maintenance (upcoming sales, coupons, etc.). I'll definitely go back.

I took my 2003 BMW 325i in for a Inspection II and spent so much less then if I took my car to the dealer. My right front wheel had a noise that they fixed for free. Thank you very much for the awesome customer service and work. Congratulations on your 31st Anniversary its nice to know that a business can be around for this long and still be doing excellent work. I will be back.

I have a 2004 Audi A6 2.7T. I brought it into German Car specialists after finding an engine coolant leak. After thorough inspection under the car I found where the leak was dripping from and marked the area (hoping to save the shop time in finding the problem and myself money).I dropped it off at night, and the next day I received a call that they see the problem and that it is likely my secondary water pump. They quoted a reasonable price and I had them do the service.The problem was fixed and I have had no subsequent problems. I think their knowledge of the cars is apparent in being able to diagnose the problem so quickly (without removing parts). I think they really understand (my Audi model) which is nice (the 2.7T are a bit more complex than the other models).I only gave them 4 stars because they made one recommendation that I AGREED to, but in hindsight, I think I was fine (I had the temperature gauge replaced because they said their technician saw the gauge act erratically... I dont recall having any problems with it but agreed to it (cheap replacement $45)). They were not pushy about any service (including the temp gauge), and Mac was a very nice mechanic.I would definitely recommend them to anyone with an Audi; they will do a great job for a decent price.

I'm very happy with German Car Specialists. They take the time to explain the issue to me and they even help prioritize which repairs are critical and which can wait.I recommend these guys for your German car and I am happy to have my Audi in their very capable hands.

Will not go back, This shop can't even do basic settings of the car's transmission. Had to go to the AUDI Dealer. I don't like paying twice. Next time I need Audi Repairs will pass by this shop and go to the Dealer for PROPER repair. THIS posted on CitySearch

I needed a headlight bulb replaced and decided to give these guys a chance. They were able to do it while I waited and the guy was quite friendly. If I ever need a bigger repair I'll be sure to come back here.

I've been a customer of GCS for nine years. I started when my dealer warrantee. Ran out. These guys know me by name. They charge a whole lot less than dealer service. They are fair, knowledgeable, friendly and on time. I've had regular services and repairs from them. No complaints. My 13 year old Audi runs and looks like brand new!

These guys are the best. I never like having to take my car in for service, but these guys always turn it into a good experience. Dan provides excellent communication in letting me know what to expect and options in repairs. He is a mechanic that I trust with two of our cars. Previously, our cars were serviced by both Barrier then Phil Smart. The service and communication that we get at GCS is much better at a lower price. I highly recommend Dan and his team!
