NOT GOOD FOR NEWER CARS. These jokers maybe good with BMW's older than 2000 but who knows. Anything newer and its basically a guessing game for them. They DO NOT have the proper diagnostic tools as claimed on their website. They are not using the same computer systems as the BMW dealer to diagnose vehicle problems. They are in fact using a sub-par diagnostic tool and throwing parts at the problem. I should have known after doing a buyers inspection and receiving a barely ledgibel and hand written inspection report on my $50,000 used BMW. Against my better judgement I decided to have some repairs performed at their facility. After spending nearly $3000 in unnecessary repairs I finally made a better choice and had 2nd opinion at the BMW dealer. They finally fixed the problem. As it turns out a German accent does not translate into BMW certifications. This place will probably be suitable for any 80's or 90's bmw but not anything newer. Good Luck!

I've taken my 2003 BMW 325xi into this shop twice now and have received exceptional service every time. They have helped me deal with a lot of the problems that have popped up on my 12 year old car while working within my budget. Not only would they search around the city to find me the parts I needed but they had a loaner car frequently available to help me get to work while my car was being fixed. I would highly recommend them to anyone because they will talk with you to explain the problem and help you find the quickest and most cost effective way to fix it for you.

I used to take my Mercedes C class AMG, to the dealership for everything, but then I found German Car Specialists and have never gone back. The Dealership told me I needed to replace my transmission module which costs the same as replacing the whole tranny. So I found "GCS" and they just replaced a missing transmission fluid plug and it's been running better and that was 40K miles ago! Not only is it way more affordable, but you get the same excellent treatment, honest assessments and they make it so easy! I am a Mercedes Driver for life, and now I'm a German Car Specialists customer for life!

I have taken my car to German Car Specialists several times and they have done fantastic work! Sometimes I forget what work needs to be done, but they keep great records and always inform me when I can postpone some maintenance and which posted on CitySearch

I took my BWM 335i coupe for oil change. I was very happy with the service and the car's running well. They gave me my regular change, checked all the fluids. The light replacement, they did give me information about all the "regular" maintenance but at no time did I feel pressured to take it. They also gave me information about how to get the best deal for my car's maintenance (upcoming sales, coupons, etc.). I'll definitely go back.

I took my 2003 BMW 325i in for a Inspection II and spent so much less then if I took my car to the dealer. My right front wheel had a noise that they fixed for free. Thank you very much for the awesome customer service and work. Congratulations on your 31st Anniversary its nice to know that a business can be around for this long and still be doing excellent work. I will be back.

I have a 2004 Audi A6 2.7T. I brought it into German Car specialists after finding an engine coolant leak. After thorough inspection under the car I found where the leak was dripping from and marked the area (hoping to save the shop time in finding the problem and myself money).I dropped it off at night, and the next day I received a call that they see the problem and that it is likely my secondary water pump. They quoted a reasonable price and I had them do the service.The problem was fixed and I have had no subsequent problems. I think their knowledge of the cars is apparent in being able to diagnose the problem so quickly (without removing parts). I think they really understand (my Audi model) which is nice (the 2.7T are a bit more complex than the other models).I only gave them 4 stars because they made one recommendation that I AGREED to, but in hindsight, I think I was fine (I had the temperature gauge replaced because they said their technician saw the gauge act erratically... I dont recall having any problems with it but agreed to it (cheap replacement $45)). They were not pushy about any service (including the temp gauge), and Mac was a very nice mechanic.I would definitely recommend them to anyone with an Audi; they will do a great job for a decent price.
